Stylish classic blouse. Silk from an old wrap around skirt supplemented with logwood dyed silk. Wool hand dyed with logwood.
This top is made exclusively from discarded silk skirts. The patterned pieces of material is felted from the back in a curve and the green plain material is felted in grids following the curve of the skirts.
An old silk scarf formed the center of the dress and I let the roving follow the shape of the dress and the outline of the scarf. Hand dyed silk were used to complete the dress.
This is a red batist blouse felted with roving in lighter red and green colors. It is a slighter thicker material for durability. But it has a nice sheen and texture.
